A fun, friendly and safe place to learn!
Benjamin Franklin spent the day at Baywood, sharing his stories and setting the stage for Social Emotional Learning. Through Dr. Franklin students learn the importance of know yourself, choose yourself and give yourself. Teachers will use Franklin as an exemplar as students increase emotional literacy and learn how one strengthens self-management and commits to self-direction.
We recently hosted our second Campus Care day of the year. Despite the heat, we had a nice turnout of both adults and students. We were able to do lots of new planting, weeding and even built a new, more stable bed for our pumpkins, sunflowers, etc. We hope to see more of you out in the fall!
Thank you to the Dendi, Gawell, Salgado, Baxter, Thomsen, DeWild families and a special thank you to Lindsey Matthews and Loral Landscaping for composting all of our debris.
Baywood's mission is for all members of the Baywood School community, students, parents, teachers, and staff, to work interactively towards a lifelong love of learning, in a respectful, safe, supportive and challenging learning environment. Read more
