Coronavirus impact

All San Mateo-Foster City schools are closed to students beginning Monday, March 16 through spring break, Friday, April 17. Please do not go to your school site unless picking up a meal at one of the four sites designated for this purpose. 

Important Notes:

  • Reminder to complete "Urgent:  SMFCSD Parent Survey"
  • Our Child Nutrition Department will provide "grab and go" meals from Monday, March 16 through Friday, April 3,  from 11:30am - 1:00pm in the Multi-Purpose Room at these four school sites: College Park Elementary School, Laurel Elementary School, Lead Elementary School and Foster City Elementary School. Please see flyer ( English Spanish ) for more information. 
  • The District begins Distance Learning on Thursday, March 19. By end of the day Tuesday, March 17, all families will receive a communication to explain how the Thursday and Friday Launch Days are being organized. Most importantly, Tuesday's message will advise you when you and/or your child must come by the school to pick up any hard - copy materials essential to distance learning.
